Welcome to the Homepage of the INTERMINABLE CONTRAPTIONS - Interactive Multimedia website!
The Zachar STICKER-EMOJI Collection
If you, like me, are too egotistical or selfish to follow paths on demarcated lines, traditional prescribed GIFs and stickers may well fall short when you're trying to communicate with others...
You too searching for a new set of personalised symbols which communicate just what you want to say as opposed to the way social media would like to determine the way you do so?
Your quest may well be over, my friend!
You can now download a growing collection of Animated GIFS and stickers individualized with heaps of images of me emoting in various exaggerated ways.
Just what you always wanted! Get them now !!
I know you want to...
Below you will find links to recent posts concerned with GIF sets and Zticker packs I've been working on.
This website has a number of basic
1. INTERMINABLE CONTRAPTIONS Home
That is this page... well, obviously! In addition to providing these links, the intention is to make easy links to posts in consecutive order that they were posted, the most recent post first. When the older posts get too bulky, I move the older ones to the POSTS page...
2. LINKS TO POSTS
The contents of this website gradually develops through the addition of individual posts as they are included as part of the contents of webpages which describe of the individual compositions
3. FACEBOOK PAGE
INTERMINABLE CONTRAPTIONS started as a Facebook page, and it'll take me awhile before I've transferred everything to this website. For the time being, however, you can link to that page to view my early history of animated GIFs via this link..
4. GIF CLANS
Although individual GIFs exist, they are most often created in SETS which in turn belong to CLANS. Posts represent GIF SETS. In the future, pages will be made to incorporate the overarching structures of CLANS - to which many GIFs and GIF SETs belong to.
5. ZTICKER PACKS
So, Zachar: what are 'ztickers'? They are Zachar Stickers, of course! You can download them in packs for various different apps, and as I make posts concerning each individual sticker, I'll be starting to makes links containing information about the complete family and how you can download them, in addition to links to each of the ztickers within the pack. Eventually, pages will be made for ZTICKER packs with download information for them.

SEAWARD HO! ...a GIF Set by Zachar Laskewicz...SEAWARD HO!
with:
DIANA COPPENS & LEZ. K. WHISKY
...a GIF SET by Zachar Laskewicz...
This is the first GIF in a set of 24; it introduces the two major participants, Captain Wise and “Madame Ralinsky” (Hortense Weary) played by "Diana Coppens" and "Lez. K. Whisky" (Laskewicz).
Definition:
SEAWARD HO
/seewod ho/ (pl. seaward hos)
[1] popular saying meaning that one is departing for the sea.
"They were going seaward ho"
[2] a real slaggy tramp - considered even worse than a landbound slut.
"Heeza seaward ho, bro!"
These 24 repeating films intended to be sended by anyone to anyone, form part of the same GIF Set. In addition they belong to the GIF Clan: "dontlooknow".
A set of tags are made for these GIFs. This twenty four GIFs are united by the tag #seawardho (also: #setseawardho and #lazgevitseawardho) to identify that they belong to the same set. To identify they belong to a specific clan, additional clan tags are added. To this GIF, #clandontlooknow has been added.
Additional tags are also included, such as #dianacoppens to reference the superstar Belgian artist who was generous enough to participate in this project and to whom I will be eternally grateful. All of these GIFs belong to the INTERMINABLE CONTRAPTIONS artistic project by Zachar Laskewicz, and have the tag #interminablecontraptions to make this link. GIF Series - BETRAYAL OF THE MOON
GIF 2 -
THIS IS WHERE WE LIVE
This is the second GIF in the series of GIFs called "The Betrayal of the Moon" which confronts representations of the universe in different forms. Like in many other works of mine, it goes down lots of different paths simultaneously. It is a polyphonic creation in time that spends its time creating and then destroying frames as the GIF gradually zooms out, revealing the Californian printmaker Ines Monguio who helped make this years Gotogram so very exciting for me to make. Before the end of the series, I will have touched Magritte, Foucault and, well, Caligula as well (or at least Camus' interpretation of him).
