WHO ME LUNA SEA
Postal Art 2025

The full title for this artwork is WHO ME LUNA SEA - Postal Art 2025

For issue 49 of the reproduction arts magazine, four artworks were published for which I created these webpages so that just by whipping out their smartphones viewers could instantly view a multimedia realization of my art, giving an insight into the processes that resulted in the creation of the art and/or the complex metaphors which are behind both the subject of the artwork and the methods I invented to make them, hence the name of this art series "SCAN ME: Method as Metaphor".

Since the publication and as a result of inspiration that grew from projects I created to explore further the themes, I've created some of my most striking printed and multimedia projects ever.

This is, however, the first artwork to receive its own "SCAN ME" webpage. It's a little film that I created as part of another more complex commentary on the published artwork "GETTING GOT FOR PRINTED ART - Ines Monguio Got Got". It shows me actually snatching (printing) some gotograms for the 2024-2025 period that became the instigating influence for the published artwork "Getting Got for Printed Art" which you can see here. Below is the artwork I created to "house" the qr-code like the published artworks. This is now becoming a convention! I mean, you could scan the screen if you wanted to view this artwork on your smartphone (which it iwas actually intended for). Or you could just watch the multimedia file here or on YouTube!

THE INVITATION

At the time of publication of this SCAN ME - METHOD AS METAPHOR page (end of October 2025), I'm currently planning another gotogram for the following new year. This can be considerd the invitation for participants in this interactive art project. All you have to do is receive the package and, if you want, tell me about what it was like to get it, and if you feel so inclined, interact with it in some way. I'll probably end up sending out around twenty of them, and I hope to get some new people enthusiastic about participating.
